Stop fake WooCommerce accounts
Fake WooCommerce accounts pile up when bots hit the My Account form, when shoppers sign up again with a fresh alias to reuse a first-order coupon, and when throwaway inboxes fill your customer list. The InlineShield plugin screens each new WooCommerce customer account before it is created, on My Account and, if you want, at checkout.

My Account and checkout
The plugin covers the My Account registration form and, when you switch it on, accounts created at checkout, on both the classic and the block checkout. Checkout protection is off by default, because it only matters if your store creates accounts during checkout.
Guest checkout is not affected: InlineShield screens account creation, not orders.
Each customer gets an InlineShield column on the Users screen with the verdict, risk score and status, and you can report fraud or legitimate customers back from there.
Set up in minutes
Install the plugin, paste your API key and site key, tick the WooCommerce forms you want to protect, and save. The full steps, the review settings and the developer hooks are on the WordPress plugin page. All plans include the plugin; see pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Does it slow down checkout?
Only when an account is being created at checkout and you have switched checkout protection on. Guest orders are not screened.
Will it remove the fake accounts I already have?
No. The plugin screens new sign-ups. Existing accounts stay as they are.
Does it work with the block checkout?
Yes. Accounts created at checkout are screened on both the classic and the block checkout when checkout protection is on.
What do refused customers see?
A neutral message asking them to contact support. It doesn't reveal what triggered the refusal.
Do I need WooCommerce for the plugin to work?
No. Without WooCommerce it protects the normal WordPress registration form. The WooCommerce options take effect once WooCommerce is active.
