Install
- Download the plugin ZIP.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins › Add New › Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, install it and click Activate.
- Open Settings › InlineShield, paste your API key and site key, save, and click "Test connection".
- Optional, to hold accounts until you approve them: in this console's Settings › Webhook, set the webhook URL to https://<your-site>/wp-json/inlineshield/v1/webhook, then paste the webhook signing secret into the plugin's settings.
What it protects
- The WordPress registration form (wp-login.php?action=register)
- WooCommerce My Account registration
- Account creation at WooCommerce checkout (optional)
- Disposable emails, inbox aliases, bots and VPN or data-centre traffic
- Held accounts can be kept from logging in until you approve them
Held accounts
To keep held accounts waiting until you decide them, set the webhook URL in the console's Settings › Webhook to https://<your-site>/wp-json/inlineshield/v1/webhook and paste the webhook signing secret into the plugin's settings. The plugin verifies each signed delivery.
